GORDON PASHA FOR KHARTOUM.
It lias transpired that at the request of the British Government Gordon Pasha has accepted charge of a special mission, and has started for Khartoum. Gordon Pasha will be answerable only to the British Government as regards his expedition, and has not accepted any command mand in the Egyptian army.
