REEFTON MINING.
Reepxon, December 20. There is nothing of importance to]report to-day. In consequence of the rumors respecting the Southern Cross a party went out yesterday to Boatmans and found that the reports of rich stone are correct. The stone is extremely good, but is only from two to three inches wide. Should it widen out with the same quality, it would be important. A quantity of stone picked from a truck cannot contain less than three ounces of gold.
