j (Before H. A. Stratford, Esq., Warden.) Fegal and party were applicants for a race at Riverviev. Granted, Bubjeet to Maher's rights in particular. D Jessup applied to the Court for advice. Applicant stated that a bush fire had

occurred at Waipuna, whereby all his property waa destroyed, and amongst it, Ms miner's ripht and eevetal certificates. He therefore desired to be advised with regard to obtaining duplicates. The mode of proceeding was explained to Jeasup, with an intimation that the Court would assist him in the necessary declaration. Ernest fianaen applied for a double area claim at Half- ounce — Granted. E. J. Pugh applied for a dam at Walpuoa—Granted. John Reid applied for water rights udder section 31, Mines Aot. The Warden stated he would visit the district, and give a decision at the January sittings — Case adjourned accordingly.
