Bombay, March 18. The P. and O. Company's steamship Hydaspes, which left this port for Galle, en route for Australia, has put back disabled. The mails have been transferred to the Assam, and she sails to morrow fop Galle and Sydney. London, March 16. The following vessels arrived from New Zealand : — Mataura, from Port Chalmers, 20th December; Mercpe, from Lyttelton, 21st December; Waitangi, from Lyttelton, 3rd December. March 17. The New Zealand loan, 102 ; and 5| per cent. New Zealand loan, 108. Parts, March 18. The French Ministry is sending a complete set of educational exhibits to the Melbourne Exhibition ; also a delegate to study the Victorian school system. St. Petersburgh, March 17. The Russian Government has notified it will cease diplomatic relations with Turkey unless the assassin who recently killed Kommihoff at the Russian Ambassy at Constantinople received sentence of death.
