[special.] London, March 24. The Eastern Company's tender for the Cape cable has been accepted. They utilise the Australian duplicate one, Sir J. Coode's scheme for the improvement of the Yarra, and construction of a dock, involves the expenditure of over a million. March 25. The Duke of Cambridge denies that Lord Chelmsford complained against Sir Bartle Frere in connection with the Zulu disaster.
