WELLINGTON NEWS.
Wellington, Feb. 15. The Governor's farewell levee was attended by about 100 persons to-day. The City Council and the Working Men's Club presented addresses, to which Buitable replies were given. The Governor leaves on Monday, when the Chief Justice willbe sworn in as Acting-Governor. Sir H. Robinson leaves Sydney in H.M.S. Emerald on 15th March. The police are making a raid on the demi-monde. Seventeen informations have been laid. Sir George Grey has published in the New Zealander a long statement of his views on the Zulu question, and the 'steps which ought to be taken. He does not think one campaign can settle the question, and recommends a plan of operations by mixed forces converging on the centre.
