Adelaide, Aug. 22. The Gothenburg has arrived at Port Darwin. A boat containing twenty persons capsized on boarding, but all were saved. August 24. The City of Adelaide, with immigrants on board, is ashore .at Henley , Beach. There are no particulars yet to hand. August 27. The cattle show to-day was a success Mr Charles Price won the special prize for the best bull, under 20 months. Mr C. B. Fisher' 3 Angler took the prize for the best bloo^ horse, and Mr Kelly'sLorii Redesdale for the best draught^ horse; Messrs John Murray, and Sanders, James and Co., were the. principal pnzetakers in sheep. There were three entries of flax machines/, . - ; ■ Fifty rams sold at auction averaged L4Q each, one fetching as high as L 177. :i Dr Schomburgk, the director of the Botanic-gardens, has snccessfully grown tussock grass, which is regarded as a most nutritious grass. . , ; fheschooner Adelaide: has been wreoked.
near Kingston. All hands were saved except the mate. The exports of breadstuffs for the week amounted to 850 tona. Wheat is dnll at 5s 65. The schooner Resolute is ashore at Kingston, and other boats are ashore at Port Caroline.
