The Otago on the passage home enconntered a terrible gale on April 10. She lo3t all her boats, and spars, also stock and portion of bulwarks, and the ship was lying some time with her lower yard arms under water. The following day she was rescued by the crew of the barque Arthur, in a sinking cozidition, and landed them at Dartmouth. Loading at London for Auckland— Tho Cathcart, Columbus, Oxford City, of Auckland. For Canterbury— Carisbrook Cistle, St. Lawrence, Taunton, Nelson. Passilvia. For Otago— Corona, Cordelia, Hadpow, Hall, and Sam Mendal. For Wellington— J. A. Thomson, Stranaver, St. Leonard's ; steamer Bruce Bailed from Clyde for Otago on 11th April, via San Francisco. Loading for Lyttelton — Barque Brunett and brig Seda, with railway ties, for New Zealand. Sailed from Vancouver's Island, on May 6th, brig Hazard, for New Zealand. Loading— Barque Coloso, for Otago. Sailed from Boston on May Bth the ship Bunker Hill, for Melbourne and Dunedin.
