TENDERS are invited for the purchase of the whole or any portion of Fifty Thousand 1 Pounds New Zealand Government Debeh* [ tures, issued under the Act of the Legisla- : ture of the Colony, entitled " The Westland 1 Loan Act, 1873." By the Act above citfed, 1 the principal sum to be raised, and the in* 1 terest thereon, are charged on the Consoli- : dated Revenue- of the Colony ; a special ! block of laud 250,000 acres in extent feeing set apart as security to the Colony for the amount to be raised. In the event of equal tenders being received for a sum in excess of the issue, a pro rdta distribution will be made. 5. The amount tendered for must be paid at the Treasury at Wellington as under : — .'.'.' Five per cent, accompanying application ; the balance on or before the Bth May.
