From Hokitika— B cases, 1 boat. Included in the above are the following consignments : — Per Kennedy, transhspped ex Phoebe, from Melbourne : 3 cases merchandise, 1 do vases, J B Roche.
The shipping business yesterday was the departure of the s.s. Kennedy for Nelson, with a considerable number of passengers, and a cruise outside by the Dispatch, in search of the schooner Gem, which has been outside for a couple of days. She, however, did not turn up, and the tug returned to port.
