TENDERS are required for the SUPPLY and DELIVERY of Six Hundred, more or less, TEL-EGRAPH POLES, between Reefton and Lyell,. at mark pegs along or near the dray road. - " They must be tot&ra saplings, or sawn square; if saplings they must be not less than ten inches at the butts and eight inches at the heads, twenty and twenty-five -feet ong, straight and sound, and stripped Of the bark two feet at the top end; if sawn they must be eight inches at the butts and six inches at the heads, sound, free from sap, bad knots, shakes or speckled timber, same lengths as above, and will have to be submitted to inspection before they are accepted. Delivery must be completed within eight weeks after the contract is signed.
