The 'Colonial Revenue RETauxf.— 'The revenue returns foi the December quarter, published iv a Gazette on the 23th ult, show a_considerable increase on the same quarter of the previous year. The amounts received for Customs' duties at the several ports of the Colony make a total of L227i253 in the December quarter of 1866, and L 193,418 in that of 1860. The total receipts of ordinary revenue for the last quarter were L 249 ,000, and the expenditure L197|000 (in round numbers). The Custom's revenue during the entire year amounted to L 544,000 against L730,0v0 in 1865.
