The case hinged on tlie- two points as to. whether .the plaintiif was a guest or passenger, in; the terms of the Act, and whVther he had exercised sufficient precaution wi th regard to his property. ; His Worshiii decided that the plaintiff did not come under the designation of guest or tiavcllerV he '.was a. resident tp-.allintcnts.and purposes, having arranged . for his residence at the defendant's hotel from week to week.
