Haili close at the Chief Poet OfEoc for the following places (subject to the necessary alteraturns) as under : SATURDAY, DECEMBER 10. For Northern ports, per Penguin, at 7.30 p.m. The guard’s van must not be used for this mail. MONDAY, DECEMBER 12. For Northern ports and Australian colonies, via Sydney, per Wakatipu. Notice. —On and after Nov. 1, 1881, money orders will be issued in New Zealand payable at any town in Germany, and after Ist January next Money Orders will be issued in New Zealand payable in the United States of America. Postage stamps may now be used for stamping receipts under the Stamp Act, 1875, but receipt stamps are not accepted in payment cf postages. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
