RANGIORA HORTICULTURAL SHOW.

Hon. secretary : Mr O. J. Jennings. Tho eleventh show of the society established here about six years ago was held on Thursday, in the hall of the Literary Institute. There was a very good show of tri-oolor geraniums, fuchsias, and cut blooms. The calceolarias of Mr Hunnibell and fuchsias of Mr Ogden wore very good, but only a small show of fruit and vegetables, which may be accounted tor by the lateness of the season. The staging was carried out very effectively by Messrs Nairn and Son. Tho judges in the various classes were —Flowers and plants : Messrs Chris. Mudd, H. Crooks and J. Joyce.
