[EEUTEE’s TELEGEAMa.I LONDON, December 6. The Markets. Three per Cent. Consols have declined vr, and are quoted to-day at 991. New Zealand securities have an upward tendency. Five per Cent. 10-40 Loan has advanced 1 per cent., to 105 ; Five per Cent. 1889 Loan is unchanged at 104; Four and a Half per Cent., 18791904 Loan, has also advanced 1 per cent., to lOlf. Colonial breadstnffs are unchanged. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, 55s ; New Zealand do, 525; Adelaide flour, ex store, 41s 6d. Australian tallow remains at last quotations. Best beef, 37s 6d ; best mutton, 40s 6d. Best Scotch pig iron has advanced 2s per ton ; No. 1, f.o.b. in Clyde, 545. Wool. At the wool sale to-day 8400 bales were offered, making a total of 104,700 catalogued since the opening. A fair demand was experienced, December 7. True Patriots. The elections for Londonderry took place to-day, and resulted in the return of the Solicitor - General for Ireland, who was a candidate for the seat, by an overwhelming majority over Sir Samuel Wilson, the Conservative candidate.
