Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alteratione) as under WEDNESDAY, JUNE 22. For the United Kingdom, via Brindisi (specially addressed correspondence only), Continent of Europe, Point de Gallo, India, China, Japan, the East, Aden, Mauritius, Nats], Cape ot Good Hope, Suez, the Mediterranean Ports, Australian Colonies, per express train as follows: Ordinary letters, at 7 a.m. ; boobs and newspapers at 6 a.m ; registered letters, at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21st; money orders, at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21st. • Late fee letters may be posted in the travelling Post-office van attached to the express train on Wednesday, June 22nd. For Northern Ports, per Hawea, at 1.40p.m.; late fee letters, at 2 p.m. ; guard’s van, 2.30 p.m. train. For Kaikoura. per Tui, at 3.20 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 330 p.m.; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train.
