MAIL NOTICES
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under SATURDAY, JUNE 18. For United Kingdom (via San Francisco), Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, Sandwich Islands, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &c., per Penguin, as follows: Ordinary letters at 6.30 p.m.; lata fee letters, at 7 p.m. ; books and newspapers, at 6.30 p.m.; money orders at 3 p.m. ; registered letters, at 5 P.m. ; guard’s van, 8.30 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on the 2nd August, 1881. TUESDAY, JUNE 21. For Northern Ports, per Hawea, at 1.40 ; late fee letters, at 2 p.m. ; guard’s van, at 2.30 p.m. train. For Otago and Tasmania, per Arawata, at 1.40 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2 p.m.; guard’s van, at 2.30 p.m. train. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies, 1 per Wakatipu, at 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters, at 3.30 p.m. : guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster. 1
