MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under:— SATURDAY, JUNE 18. For United Kingdom (via San Francisco), Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, Sandwich Islands, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &0., per Penguin, as follows: Ordinary letters at 6.30 p.m,; late fee letters, at 7 p.m. ; books and newspapers, at 6.30 p.m.; money orders at 3 p.m. ; registered letters, at 5 p.m.; guard’s van, 8.30 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on the 2nd Aucrusl. 1881. TUESDAY, JUNE 21. For Northern Ports, per Hawes, at 1.40; lata fee letters, at 2 p.m. ; guard’s van, at 2.30 p.m. train. For Otago and Tasmania, per Arawata, at 1.40 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2 p.m.; guard’s van, at 2.30 p.m. train. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies, per Wakatipn, at 3,20 p.m.; late foe letters, at 3.30 p.m. : guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. The following appeared cn the Telegraph Notice Board yesterday : Mail for Australian Colonics and United , Kingdom, per Eingarooma, close at Bluff on Friday, June 17th at noon. SYDNEY J.
