Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under:— SATURDAY, JUNE 18. This mail will be due in London on the 2nd Aucrusl. 1881. TUESDAY, JUNE 21. For Northern Ports, per Hawes, at 1.40; lata fee letters, at 2 p.m. ; guard’s van, at 2.30 p.m. train. For Otago and Tasmania, per Arawata, at 1.40 p.m.; late fee letters, at 2 p.m.; guard’s van, at 2.30 p.m. train. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies, per Wakatipn, at 3,20 p.m.; late foe letters, at 3.30 p.m. : guard’s van, 4 p.m. train.
