The charye to subscribers will in future be £1 10s. per annum to those with whom accounts arc Jcepf , and £1 Gs. per annum in cases of pre-payment . This will include the cost of delivery, where possible, by rail or coach. Subscribers receiving their papers through the Post-office will be charged with the actual amount paid for postage in addition to the above rates. The Directors, in making this alteration,are actuated by a desire to supply to the public a first-class Morning Newspaper at the lowest possible price. Notwithstanding the great pecuniary concession the Company make to the public by this reduction, the Directors have decided not to increase the charges for advertising, trusting to the development of 11,I 1 , resources of this important district for that natural increase in business, of which they feel confident, and lohich no effort shall be spared to command.
