Extension oe Christchurch. —It is announced in the “ G-azette ” that, unless a petition is presented within two months against the project, the following district will be incorporated with the city of Christchurch by proclamation : —Bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the North belt and Papanui road, thence following along said road to the north-west boundary of rural section 4G, thence along the north-west boundary of said section and a line in continuation thereof to the Abbcrley road, t hence along the Abbcrley and Edgewaro roads to the north-oast corner of rural section 243 b, thence along the eastern boundary of the latter section to the North belt, and thence along the North bolt to the commencing point.
