CABLE_NEWS SPECIAL TO THE GLOBE. [from our own correspondent.] University Boat Race. London, April 12. Oxford won the University boat race, after a severe struggle, by seven lengths. The Austro -Hungarian ambassador here is negotiating for the eventual occupation by Austrian troops of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Vienna, April 13. Germany and Austria have rebuffed Roumania's appeal re the cession of Bessarabia. [special to the press agency.] London, April 13. The University boat race to-day was won by Oxford easily by eight lengths. The money market is easier. Bank rate, 3 j market, 2\ ; consols, 95. Australian securities are resuming their usual activity, and have advanced 1 per cent. The corn market is easier. New Yore, April 12. Boss Tweed died to-day., AUSTRALIAN. [from our own correspondent.] Sydney, April 15. There is heavy wagering on tne liandwick meeting, Chester is easier, and Cap a-pie is advancing in price for the Leger and Cup.
