Mails close at Chief Post Office for the following places, as under, subject to necessary alterations;— Monday, August 16. For DunedinJ and Port Chalmers, per Ladybird, at 11.35 a.m.; late letters, at 11.55 a.m.; railway station, 12.25 train. Tuesday, August 17. For Wellington, Napier, and Auckland, per s.s Wellington, at 1.45 p.m.; lateletters, 2.5 p.m. ; railway station, 2.30 p.m. train. For Dunedin and Australian Colonies, per Otago. Hour of closing in future notice, J. J. FITZGIBBON, Chief Postmaster.
