Shorthand speed experts—some of them can write at the astonishing pace of -JBO words a minute, and even taster—will visit London from many countries in July. They will attend the International Shorthand Congress and pay tribute to threo great sliorthand inventors whoso systems have mado history. This year three notable shorthand anniversaries will he celebrated. They aro those of Timothy Bright’s system, 350 years old; Sir Isaac Pitman’s system, 100 years old; and Dr. John Robert Gregg’s system, 50 years old.
