EAST COAST REGATTA. POVERTY RAY GAINS MELD AND COLLEY AND KIRK SHIELDS. NAPIER RETAINS L.V.A. SHIELD. ■ (Press Association) NAPIER, Feb. 13. At the rowing regatta, Poverty Bay annexed the Neild Shield in the single sculls, and Colley and KirkShield in the double sculls. The-results were:— Senior Doubles.—-One and a half miles: Poverty Bay 1, Gisborne 2. Won by two. and a half lengths.. Singles.—'Ten stone. One mile: Wairoa 1, Poverty Bay 2. Gisborne 3. Won by two lengths and one and a half lengths.
