Oil Saturday Rugby and basketball teams from Tikitiki paid a visit to tho local school. The Rugby team defeated the local boys by 3 to nil and, in the basketball competitions, Tolaga Bay defeated the visitors, while Alungatuna also defeated Tikitiki and Tolaga Bay teams. The Lockwood Cup was again successfully retained by Tolaga Bay against Ruatoria on Saturday.

S. ’Williams Alemorial Hall on Friday night. Large programmes of original and artistic designs cleverly executed by Airs. J. M. AlefTim. adorned tho walls. Snappy music was played by tho Night Owl orchestra and delightful extras were contributed by Mrs. C. Williams and Miss Kura Beale.
