DOUBLE BILL TO-DAY Two bright features are now ‘show ing at the King’s Theatre. Embellish edi with new songs, laughs, and pathos, “Song and Dance Man” tells n! a “hoofer” who honestly believes him self better than Bred Astaire. Ihe girl, remains faithful to the partnersh’p because the man helped lie** when “lie was down and out. Finally, she gets a chance through the interest of » wealthy playboy. The “hoofer” realises that lie is in tho wav, pretends that he is drunk ami -spi ts up the partnership. Underhand work follows and the “hoofer” returns' in time to frustrate, it and then leaves ■so that the girl can have the right man. Paul Kelly in tho title role. Claire Trevor as the gTI, and’Michael Whalen as the playboy give commendable performances. John Alills arid Greto Alosheim appear in the lively British- picture, “Car pf Dreams” which is the second feature.
