A depression is still located east of the North Island but is parsing slowly away. —Forecast— . Winds: Light and variable south of Farewell. Spit, and Kaiikonra; with northerlies predominating; elsewhere moderate to strong southerly, still reaching gale force at places, but decreasing gradually. Seas (N.Z. waters)’: Lather rough north of East Cape and rough to high, but decreasing to-morrow; elsewhere. north of Farewell Spit and Etnikonra; slight'to modevsite, thehce southwards.
