DOMINION AND GLADSTONE ROADS INTERSECTION. HIGH SCHOOL CYCLISTS. In order to make the intersection o‘ Dominion road and Gladstone road less dangerous both to motorists an ! cyclists tho .Borough Council decided last evening to paint a line oil Gladstone road indicating the track to be taken by cyclists proceeding to toAvn. Thu matter cropped up as the outcome' of the following sections of' the town clerk’s report: “Au'accident occurred at the corner oi Dominion rqad and Gladstone road involving a ; High School pupil and a motorist. It is recommended that ° •line be painted oil Gladstone road':H this intersection, defining the direction to be taken by all users of the roadwhen coming out of Dominion road and procedeing towards town. A similar line should be placed at Hunter, street. “A definite cycle track on each side of Gladstone road from Roebuck road to Hunter street, or an extension of the bitumen surface woilid greatly diminish the danger to all users ol the'road in this area when’ the High; School pupils are proceeding to or returning from school. Roebuck road is a similar street Avliere this danger exists, and. could be obviated in the same manner.” The report \vas adopted.
