Nevertheless, 'some interesting work was clone, and there is every prospect of a most successful moetingl for next week. Kora (T. Dornan) was the first to work, running four furlongs in 53see. Minnow (F. Dunn) went six- furlongs at threequarter pace. Dark Princes®. (Znppicich) was given two rounds at strong pace, mov-
ing nicely. Kahunokc (Dornan) was set a similar task.
Ttuinette (T. Dornan) and Surnmcrliill (Houghton) were companions in a working gallop over five furlongs. Southampton (F. Dunn) went a round at threequarter pace.
Sporting Blood (Houghton) wus wo - ked a couple of rounds at halfi-
paee. Hinepit (T. Dornan) was allotted a light task, and Chnytor (Houghton), went six furlongs at threeqiiartej
pace. Quaint- (C. Chaafe) and Stitehbir 1. (N. Davis) were rent over five furlongs together, the first-mentioned giving the more pleasing performance They took 1.543-.
Pen nv-Com e-Quick (Kellptt). Skyway (Houghton), and Bold Ikueo (,J_ Lorigan) finished in that, order over four furlongs in 50 2-ssee.
Legatee (A. Tinsley) went twice round at half-pace, and Evermore (F. Dunn) was given light work, completing a round at his own pace. Symcony (McDonald) was sent round briskly. Fossieker (Murrny) and Gay Hunter (Kellett) ran four furlongs in 51 4-stcc., the first-mentioned pleasing most. Hunting Stop’s five furlong run was done at threequarter pace, with Kerr up.
Golden Blonde (A. Tinsley), and Good Hunting- (I. Tinsley) went fivo furlongs hi linin. 7scc. the first two furlongs at an easy pace.
Stitch (Lorigan) covered four furlongs alone in 53sce.
Capellai Abbey (Kerr) was galloped over a mile in 1.51, nnd later Nahit (Chaafe) took 2see. longer for the tamo distance.
Joe Louis (Kerr) ran four furlongs, unaccompanied, in 50 4-ssec. Lordly Knight went on the lead doing a light task. Ace AVillonyx (T. Tinsley), wont a round at threequarter pace. Rapa Wahita. (Donnelly) worked freelv.
Gasman (Murray) ran four furlongs easily in 52 -l-ssce.
