G Id Sceats (chairman), T. French, E. T Brosnahan, J. E. Mercer, P. Edmondson, V. Caulton, N. Tasker, P. Turoia and G. J. Jeuno. A letter was received from Air A. H. Airey, of Alakaruka, asking that the union advise him of the most suitable date on which to hold a Scooter competition he was contemplating running, as ho did not wish the competition to clash with any sporting fixture.—lt was decided to advise Mr Airey that August 15th was tho most suitablo date. Air Svenson, Clyde .Hotel, Wairoa, wrote stating that some one had taken a hag by mistake belonging to Mr S. S. P. Hamilton. It contained football gear, and lie would like it returned as soon as possible, as the gear was required lor Saturday. ft was decided that the Wairoa team be invited to play a P.B. rep. team a return match on Saturday next. The names of the following e ferees, Messrs. K. R. Waite, N. Tusker and L. Stichbury, arc to ho forwarded to the AVairoa Union for so! action. The matter of gear and footballs for tho primary schools was loft in tire hands of Alessrs. Sceats and Jeuno. An unfortunate incident thaL occurred in tho Y.AI.P. v. Celtic junior match last Saturday was discussed at great length. A member of the Y.AI.P. team, after being warned for allegedly kicking a player who bad not the ball at the. time, resented tho correction and it was alleged used abusive language to tho referee, .ft was further stated that he refused to go when ordered off and was advised by a number of his side not to leave the field.—The chairman stated that there had been no trouble from other clubs and it appeared that more discipline was necessary as this was the third occasion trouble had arisen.-—Mr Mercer suggested that the team at fault be suspended for the rest of the playing season.—This was seconded by Air Caulton. —An amendment that the offending player be suspended till next season was then discussed.—AJr Turn a stated that he was not there when the incident occurred and asked the union to realise that the junior players had not the same sense of responsibility as senior players.—lt was moved by Air Jeuno that the captain of the Y.AI.P. junior team and the Y.AI.P. club-captain appear before the union or, failing that, the chairman and treasurer to discuss the :u cident and the matter of discipline.~— This was seconded by Air Brosnahan and carried.

The representative match between <t team from the Waikobn Sub-Union and the P.B. colts was fixed for Saturday, play to commence at 1 .Id p.in. on Xo. 2 ground. Mr A". Caulton was elected manager of the P.B, Colts’ team, Tlio curtain-raiser to the rep. match wili be between the third grade reps, and a combined team from Old Boys Junior A. and B. The junior team to play Wairca "s to leave Tattorsall and Bayly’s corner at 8 o’clock on Saturday morning. Mr J. E. Mercer was appointed manager of the tourists. Permission was granted to the primary school players to travel to Wairoa on Saturday. A challenge cup, donated by Mr H. H Do Costa,>vas gratefully accepted, and it was decided that the trophy be played for between primary school representatives from the adjoining unions, Wo iron, East Coast, Bay of Plenty, and Gisborne and that the first match bo playod in Gisborne. It was decided that the premier Cup bo presented to the team scoring tlio most points in the final round of the senior competition.
