Senior-Sergt. .T. F. McNamara, Hastings, has received, notice of his transfer to Gisborne ns senior-sergt. ot' tho Gisborne Police Force. Mr McNamara has had 28 years’ service in the force and rose to the position of sergeant at Christchurch in 1926. He was transferred to Thames in 1927 and was promoted on Ins transfer to Hastings two years ago to the rank of senior-sergeant. Senior-Sergt. W Pender, who has been relieving in Gisborne for the past six months, will return to Napier.
