In the parish of Sibson, Leicestershire, curfew is rung every night at S o’clock. Tradition says that a man unco got lost in a fog, and discovered where he was only when lie heard the curfew bell. Out of gratitude he is said to have left five acres of land to the. rector of the parish on condition that the curfew was rung every night at 8 o’clock.
