Tho first express yesterday from Wellington to Auckland arrived ft. 8.13 a.m.. over an hour late. -The delay was duo to a blockago caused by tho early morning goods train from Frankton breaking down oil a rise hetwcen Takanini and Manurewa, the draw gear of the goods train parting at a most inconvenient time.
