KING VISITS NAVY
- RA IN SPOILS SPECTACLE. (U.P.A. by Elec. Tel. Copyright). LONDON. June 30. Tens of thousands lined the streets of Portsmouth for the King’s first visit to tile navy since his accession. Rain marred the- ceremonies, and theinspection of ratings was cancelled. The King visited the navy marine barracks, torpedo school, dockyard, and a number of warships. He wore an admiral’s uniform. Ho deplored the bad luck of heavy fain.
