OBITUARY.

MRS. REBECCA M. TYERMAN. Tho death is reported at Wanganui of ono of tho pioneers of New Zealand, Mrs. Rebecca Mary Tyerman, relict of Mr. Berkeley Tyerman. At the age of 10 years deceased came to New Zealand and took up residenco witli her family at Bulls. When she married they moved to Wanganui and later Yb Woodville, ivhero they remained for about 20 years. Three years ago the late Mrs. Tyerman returned to live in Wanganui. Deceased had a brother-in-law and sister, Mr. T. R. Tyerman, Motu, and Mrs. Hammond, Australia, still living to mourn their loss, as well as four sons and three daughters, Mr. N. R. Tyerman, Owhango, Mr. S. I. Tyerman, Nelson, Mr. C. R. Tyerman, Sydney, Mr. H. Berkeley Tyerman, Gisborne, Miss E. Tyerman, Wanganui, Miss A. Tyerman, Napier, and Mrs. H. T. Russell, Dannevirke. 1 Tho funeral will take place at Woodville to-day. MRS. R. BOAG. A former resident of Gisborne. Mrs Grace Boag, widow of the late Mr. Robert Boag, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. D. Black, Victoria street west, Auckland, on Sunday. The late Mrs. Boag, who was confined to her bed only three weeks ago, had reached her sixty-seventh year. She was born in Gore and passed tiie earlier part of her life there. Her rnarriago to Mr. Robert Boag took place in Gore 48 years ago and the couple lived in that district for a number of years, before moving to tho North Island. On arrival in Gisborne about 1904 they took over the Gladstone Boarding-house, Bright street. Later, Mr. Boag acquired tile Dominion Private Hotel. Ivaiti. About 1922 Mr and Mrs Boag went to Auckland, where Airs. Boag had resided mainly since then. She had been m failing health for about six years. Deceased’s husband died almost 10 years ago. Deep sympathy will be extended to the members of the family who remain to mourn their loss. Mrs. Boag leaves two sons, Mr. John I3oag, Tokomaru Bay. and Mr. Nelson Boag, Gisborne ,and one daughter, Mrs. D. Black. Auckland. She is survived by two brothers. Mr. R. C. Fisken. Gisborne, and Mr. Peter Fisken, Invercargill. Tho interment took place at Auckland on Monday.
