PURSUANT to Section 120 and "*■ 121 of “The Counties Act, 1920” and Sections 51 to 59 of “The Rating Act, 1925” and Amendments thereto, NOTICE is hereby 'given that the Cook County Council will at a Meeting of Council to bo held on the 15th July 1936, make and levy a General Rate in the various Ridings of the County as follows: Gisborne Riding, a Rate of 3 9/lCd in the £l. Muriwai Riding, a Rate of 43d in the £l. Pakarae Riding, a Rate of o-Jd ?» the £l. Patutahi Riding, a Rate of 4 5/ 16d in the £l. Pouawa Riding, a Rato of 5 15/lGd in the £l. Tarulieru Riding, a Rate of 3fd in the £l. To Aroha Hiding, a Rato of 6d in the £l. Tiniroto Riding, a Rate of Gd in the £l. Waimata Riding,- a Rate of 4jd in the £l. Waingako Riding, a Rate of 5 9/16d in the £l. Whataupoko Riding, a Rate of 6 15/lGd in the £l. This Rate is to cover Administration, General Maintenance and Interest and Charges on whole County and Whole Riding Loans. On tho same date and at the same time and place, the Council, in terms of Section 123 of “The Counties Act, 1920” will make and levy a- Sanitation Rate by way of a uniform charge of £2 12s per annum upon such properties as have dwellings thereon within tho Whataupoko, Kaiti and Wainui Sanitary Areas of the County of Cook. On tho same day at tho same time and place, the Council, in terms of Section IG7. Subsection (2) of “The Counties Act, 1920” will make and levy a Drainage Rato of Jtlis of Id in tho £1 over the properties in the Maraotaha and Te Kuri Special Diainage Area, and a .Drainage .Rate of 9/24ths of LI in tho £1 over the properties in the llomebusli Special Drainage Area. Tho Yalnation Rolls iiud the Rate Book of the County have been prepared and aro open for inspection, without fee, by all Ratepayers during ordinary office hours. Each of the abovc-nientioned Rates is for the period commencing on the Ist.
