Prior to his departure shortly tor Dunedin where he lias h:en transferred on promotion from the Gisborne branch of the National Bank of New Zealand, Mr. G. j. Robertson. has been the recipient of two presentations. At a gathering of members oi the H.S.O.E-. Football Club, Mr. W. Morrison, who presided. expressed the regret of all at Mr. Robertson’.--departure, and in presenting him with a fountain pen suitably engraved. wished him th : best of fortune in his new sphere. Mr. V. S. Caul ton, the club’s delegate to the Rugby Union, and Mr. E. Phillips, secretary to the club, added their tributes. Mr. Robertson suitably responded. Cricketers in tne town also met to bid farewell to Mr. Roobrtsnn, and Air. M. K.
