Steak and onions Inna? broken a prison strike at Philadelphia (U.S.A.). On tho sixth day dishes of steak and onions, surrounded by heaped-up potatoes, were placed outside the cells of tho strikers. The convicts weakened. “Wo’ll bo good, give us that stuff,” they cried. They were taken back to their ordinary cells—and served with oatmeal, coffee and bread.
