Their Health has British Tennis Worried
By the time Wimbledon tournament time comes around again, Englishmen will be more interested in the health of these tennis players than in the diplomatic turmoil in Europe or increasing armaments. The athletes are Fred Perry and G. P. Hughes and upon their return to health depends much of England’s chances .for retain ing, the coveted Davis Cup this year. Perry, ranking world ace, severely injured himself in losing to Wilmer Allison in the U.S. finals last year, while G. P. Hughes, standby of the British doubles team, has been reportedly worn o’-tt by too much tennis. / Both have been resting.
