FIVE HAPPY SISTERS
SECRET OF LONG LTFF
There are five happy sisters living at the village of Fenny Compton, in. Warwickshire, which has a total population of 480 people.
Two of the sisters live in the cen-tury-old cottage built by their father. They were all born there. Mrs Ann Finch is ninety-five: Airs Emma Hancox is ninety; Mrs Marie Grinliam is eighty-eight; Mrs Mary Cinridge eighty-one: and Miss Hannah Alexander is seventy-eight. -
Miss Alexander, whom her sisters still call the baby, explained the family philosophy to a “Sunday Express’’ representative. She said : “We are just a happy family, and take ilfe as it comes. None of us ever worry about anything, and live one day at a tithe.
“This is the real secret of long life —a, contented mind, plenty of good food, and eight hours’ sleep.. To-day people in the towns wear, themselves out long before they are old by *rushirig about and worrying.
“ ‘Why worry?’ we say. What is going to happen will happen.”
