NEXT WOOL SEASON. FOSTER OF SALES According to the roster released by tho New Zealand AVoolbrokers’ Association. a longer wool selling seaeon has been arranged for 1930-37, the last sale being scheduled for Ap-» ril 24. Napier is allotted only four sales, Diet last being set down for April 8. Last season, Napier’s original allocation was only four sales. the fourth being on March 20, but a fifth was arranged, because of tho heavy offerings earlier in the season being beyond the sale limits, and was held on April 8, the same date on which the fonrt-h sale is sot down for in 193 C-37. If a fifth sale is found necessary at Napier, next season, it seems that the only date for it) will be at the end of April or the beginning of May, and buyers in tho past have expressed their reluctance to stay so long in New Zealand. However, if limits forWiio four sales) already fixed are high enough, a fifth may. not be necessary.

During the season just closed nearly 115.000 bales were put through at the four main sales at Napier, an average of about 28,000 per sale. If an average oT 30,000 had been maintained, it should have been possible to have cleaned up the entire clip without tho necessity of si- fiflli sale. Oho lales start .made with tho shearing season and the frequent delays kept wool back from the wool stores, but despite this the early .sales were well filled.

The following roster is announced: For 1936: November 28, Auckland; December 4, Napier; December 9.
