Sevena.l now outrages have occurred. including the bombing' of the Jaffa police station and the Acre post office, hut there were no casualties. Arabs attacked police vehicles at -Safed and fired shots on the police quarters at Beisan and Jenin. Tho curfew winch was appl'cd first at Jaffa and- afterwards at Jerusalem has now been extended to the whole of (he Palestiivan. railway ■system, including an area of fifty yards on either side of the track, which troops are patrolling.

Further outrages include an attempt to blow up a bridge nea.r Jerusalem. The- wires, of the Jerusalem broadcasting stat’-on were cut. Jews are continuing the evacuation of the old citv of Jerusalem, wherein only 200 Jewish families now remain. Christians are also deserting the mixed- quarters of the town.
