INTER-CLUB CONTEST

GISBORNE v. HASTINGS.

Tlib unnual inter-clu:b swiriimirig contest between the Gisborne, Swiinniing Club and the Heretaunga Club of Hastings, will take place at the Mcßae Baths to-night. The Heretaunga team has arrived and report themselves as fit., and ready. The team includes AV. Farrell ex-Auckland title holder and present Hawke’ Bay record and title holder. It will be interesting to See how the young Gisborne swimmers, S. Dogshufi, will compare in such company. Although yet young he has been puttifig up some exceptionally ■ good times and the experience will be to his benefit. The divers will include H. Wall and I>. Terry of Gisborne and C. Thuriow and B. Wright. The two latter boys have represented Hawke’s Bay at the national championships while "the Young Gisborne boy, 11. Wall, won the Hawke’s Bay intermediate title last year and has since beaten Wright
