GENERAL SITUATION »Pres, Association. > WELLINGTON, Jan. G. A shallow' depression is crossing the Dominion. Pressure lias risen over the Western Tasman. Winds: Northerlios predominating at first in most districts, strong in places, but mainly light to moderate; a change to southerlies advancing from the south during the next 24 hours. Seas : Rather rough at times south of Dunedin, otherwise light to moderate. Eastern Tasman : Moderate northerly winds in the central and northern portions at first, but a change to southerlies advancing from the west and becoming general within 24 hours.
