GISBORNE CLUB.
The following programme has been arranged for the Club night, to be he’d at the Macrae baths on Thursday next by the Gisborne Swimming Club:—6o 2-3yds. boys’ handicap (2nd-, distance Lockie Cup), 06 2-3yds ladies’ handicap (2nd distance Gordon Cup, 50yds. intermediate handicap, 100yds open handicap, dive, 100yds relay for Club stars. Entries for the above events will close to-morrow.
On January 16 the club will hold its first carnival when a number of .championship events will he swum off. The programme is: 50yds men’s championship, 50 yds boys’ championship, 50 yds intermediate championship, 50yds. ladies’ championship. 100yds boys’ handicap (final distance Lockie Cup), 33 l-3yds -ladies’ breast-stroke handicap (final distance Gordon Cup), 66 2-3 yds open handicap. championship dive, B grade dive, no’velty, 66 2-3yds dual relay for Handrieks Rose Bowl, lOOydis relay handicap, and water polo. Entries for this carnival will close on Monday, January 13.
