A revolver duel between police and a man suspected of having shot and critically wounded Constable John Terbutt near the Central railway station on New Year's Day took place in a house in the suburb of Waterloo to-day. .
Tlid suspect, James Penrose, IS, known to the police'as “the Boy Gunman” realising that resistance would 1 be futile, shot. himself dead through 1 the temple.
