The Boss and Cromarty Conservative committee have turned down Mr Maleolm MacDonald’s candidature and declined to invite him to address a meeting.
Mr Malcolm MacDonald later announced ' that lie is contesting the seat as the National Government candidate.
Mi' Randolph Churchill is nob contesting the seat.
The new branch of the Labor party at Dingwall, has adopted Mr Hector McNeil, who opposed Mr Walter Elliot for Ivelvingrove, to contestthe seat at the coining by-election. Mr McNeil has accepted the invitation and begins his campaign immediately.
