MEN’S SINGLES FINALISTS.
ANDREWS AND McGRATH
.MISSES. NICHOLLS; AND BEVERLEY WIN WOMEN’S UUUBLES, (Press Association ) WELLINGTON, Jari. 3. The New Zealand tennis championships were resumed this afternoon in fine weather with a southerly •• breeze. The men’s singles finalists are E. D. Andrews and V. B, McGrath. McGrath had little opposition from Coombe. The Andrews and Moon match was a brilliant exhibition of well placed, hard volleying from the base line to the corners on the part of both. Andrews was aggressive and consistent. I). G. France and N. Stuart beat Aloon and Angas in a brilliant five sets of doubles semi-final. All four drove well and volleyed in great style. France was the outstanding player. Misses D .Nicholls and N. Beverley were much too steady for Misses Foole and Coombe. Miss N. Beverley, after losing the second set and after hairing two match points, ultimately won the third set for the match after again halving several match points. MEN’S SINGLES. -Semi-Finals—- , V. B. They were sentenced to three years* Borstal detention.

It certainly wants a shaking np. If it were doing its work properly there would be no need for private registry offices. I had to go to one of these offices to get the labor that I wanted,” added Mr. Puddle.
