OVER WADE
<Press Association.l
GREYMOUTH, Dec. 15
The third encounter between Glen Wade and Earl 'leOeady in the South Island this session ended in neither wrestler obtaining a fall. There was a good house. Honors, although they went to McCteady, favored, if cither of the pair, Wade, who, in a scientific and at times hard, gruelling tussle, forced the issue, applying holds which were most effective and, on three occasions,
qnly the gong saved McCready
draw would have beena fairer indication of the contest, the crowd in. no small degree showing marked disapproval of the referee’s (Mr Reban’s) decision in favor of McCready. The bout was totally free of showmanship and was' voted the best yet, a high standard beaig maintained throughout with a variety of applications which were cleverly broken by both m atm on.
